Itching to stitch!

Hello needlefolk friends!

Sadly my stitching chair has sat empty all week,

no time to pick up my needle and thread...not even once!

Our oldest military son Lieutenant Colonel Nathan Black and his family 

are on a leave from their two year assignment in Mauritania, Africa.

They'll be arriving here July 20th, for a six day visit.  

All week was spent cleaning, dusting and vacuuming 

this big old farmhouse, still have a lot of loose

ends to finish up!

Soon I'll be able to return to my stitching

and it will be so nice to be surrounded by a house

in tip top shape!

"Sweets of Paradise" VERSE...

Welcome dear needlefolk friends!

Hope your fourth of July was relaxing and 

filled with some quality stitching time...mine was!

Here it is Friday already,

time for an Adam & Eve Reproduction Sampler update...

All finished with the verse, 

which reads...

Satan their Prince soon laid a snare

for Adam and Eve that happy pair

They sinned against their God's advice 

And lost the sweets of Paradise 

Oh my goodness, 

I just caught a stitching error!

Just noticed I accidentally stitched a letter "c"

instead of an "s" in the word Paradise...I'll be correcting 

that ASAP!

Even had time to finish the second Pomegranate motif... 

Hope to finish up the remaining two motifs on the left side,

leaving Adam & Eve standing beneath the fruit laden 

branches of the Tree of Knowledge with the 

entwined serpent plotting the snare!

Need to check my stash of antique frames 

to see if one will fit, if not, I need to 

get one ordered so it's ready to 

go as soon as I'm finished!
