Gathered together are the four hearts

"Mockingbird's Message" Pinkeep ~ Club Kit No. 3

When all has waxed cold and only time remaineth, 

let not the memories fade, but let them shine 

as the noon sun, to bring an everlasting 

warmth to our burdened hearts!

This design was inspired by an email I 

received from club member Christine of

The Villages, Florida.

She told me how she and her father shared a love 

for birds and that on the day he passed, a Mockingbird

sang a beautiful concerto on a low palm tree branch

outside her home.

Thank you Christine and may God bless and

comfort you with warm memories of the

times you shared together.

With the new arrivals soon to come,
the little messenger is very busy preparing a cozy
"Home~Sweet~Home"!

The club linen is 36ct Edinburgh

palette of six colors.

Here on our farm...

On Mother's Day I discovered a Robin's nest in one 

of our Lilac bushes...

...just hatching!

Mama Robin was very upset with me while trying to

take these pictures...

This is one week later, little sleepy heads!

And once again, mama Robin is very upset with me!

Here on the farm...lots of mowing with a splash of patriotism!

Country road trip sighting...corn crib filled to the brim!

"The Little Messenger" Handworke Club Update...

Spring is the season of new beginnings.

Farmers and gardeners busy planting their seeds,

fresh buds bloom, animals awaken and the earth seems to come to life again!

There is one little bird that delivers

the sweet message; "SPRING HAS ARRIVED"! 

Oh how I anticipate looking for Spring's first 

 Robin and the simple joy it brings...

"Spring's Messenger" Pinkeep ~ kit no. 1

from "The Little Messenger" Handwork Club 2021

Stitched on 36ct Edinburgh "Vintage Country Mocha" linen,

with a finished size of approximately 7.5" long by 5" wide.

The design is stitched with one strand of DMC

floss over 2 linen threads, and a thread

palette of seven colors.

A vintage O~ring is included in the kit...
 

to make a special little heart pinkeeper!

The same matching cotton fabric is used on the backside
of both the pinkeeps.

Hope you'll enjoy stitching "Spring's Messenger"

while watching patiently for your first Robin 

to arrive in your neighborhood!
