~ Autumn's in the Air ~

Happy Labor Day dear friends and stitchers.

Hope everyone is enjoying a wonderful holiday doing 

something special, and taking time to just

relax!

With having a farmhouse FULL of family and pets, 

I did not have much quality time to work on

my model stitching ~ I'm having to make a lot of

color changes on this sampler....hope to give 

a better update on Friday's posting :)

I'm excited to start decorating for Autumn next week after our 

house guests are gone.  I need to pack away spring and

summer, and pull out autumn gatherings.

After taking this picture last week, it made me realize just how

busy I've been....I still have a few Easter gatherings 

on display!

I'm really looking forward to pulling out my 

Squirrels and Owls!

On Sunday, I had a list of errands to do in La Crosse and it really

made me smile when I saw this display.....

I love decorating with pumpkins....even the big box was

awesome!

This year I don't have any pumpkins growing on the farm......so I'll

have to buy them.

Even some Mums were for sale, but I'm going to wait for 

a better selection.

Look at what was parked in our Mall's parking lot....

It's hard to believe today is September 1st, and next month 

will be HALLOWEEN!

For several years now this 'Halloween Express' comes to our 

town and sets up shop.

While driving back home I decided to check what Halloween

sampler patterns I have left to sell on EBAY from the inventory

of my old retail needlework shop

The late Lisa Roswell was such a talented designer, she is 

sadly missed, but her wonderful patterns will 

NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!

Even the squirrels are busy gathering nuts and stopping 

along the way to EAT a few......

My little Granddaughter 'Rachel' is very intrigued and fascinated

with the surroundings in my Studio....

~ She is such a 'Little Lady' ~

Here she is showing me her colorful shoes!

She loves asking me what everything is.....

.......and after I told her

this is an old prayer bench she decided to try

it out.

 ......she immediately started thanking God for all the animals

and the Angels playing up in the sky!
