Welcome dear needlefolk friends!
Living in Wisconsin, by the time
March rolls around, just about everyone
has had their full share of winter...me included!
Hopefully, my morning treadmill walking
can soon be taken back outside...time passes so
much faster when surrounded by nature!
However, treadmill time is great for list making...
I love making list, otherwise...a goal
without a plan is just a wish!
The morning light shining in on my
little rabbit friend has inspired me to design
something with a rabbit theme!
Stay tuned, updates to follow in the next
couple of weeks!
Yay, daylight savings time begins on Sunday,
March 12th, LOVE the thought of that...can't wait!
I think the rabbits can smell Spring in
the air, and are becoming restless waiting
for the tasty grasses and flowers that
will soon follow!
Then we have St. Patrick's Day on March 17th...
Sitting on the spool of thread is one of my
favorite wee rabbits...LOVE the little green clover!
And the big day that so many of us are
patiently waiting for...
Wouldn't it be nice to have a local weatherman
that could truly predict weather accurately?
Perhaps our local news should just hire
a handsome humble hare...I bet he could do
a better job predicting things right on the spot!
March 20th is also my birthday,
which holds many fond memories!
Especially dear to my heart is this old
milk glass rabbit dish, gifted to me by my
son Sam several years ago!
For now, all we can do is wait
for Springs arrival.
For us March came in like a
Lion...so we're hoping it will go out
like a Lamb!
This is a photo of my dear sweet "Abby" rabbit
that we enjoyed making friends with here on our
farm a couple of years ago!
Notice the dainty little front paws!

While out on a Sunday drive,
we drove past a popular destination spot
here in La Crosse, Wisconsin...
It's called "Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe"
Visitors travel from all over the world to
come here on a pilgrimage.
They have special walking trails that
take you to this little chapel, plus
a gift shop and a Cafe.
I've heard it's very breath taking inside
the chapels, even though I'm not Catholic,
I would love to visit on a nice warm
sunny day!

What you tell yourself every day will either...
lift you UP or tear you DOWN!
What are your thoughts...positive or negative?
Blessings for relaxing weekend,
Kindly, Tammy
All of the Bunnies are so cute, especially all of the Bunny noses. :)
ReplyDeleteI wish they could predict better also, it always seems like they are never right.
Hoping to see some Spring flowers popping up soon.
The Shrine is a beautiful piece of architecture.

Love the bunnies. I grew up on a KS farm and raised rabbits for spending money as a girl. Rabbits always have a soft place in my heart. Love the pics.
