things keeping me busy these days!
First off is a much needed update,
and little sneak peek for ~
Prairie Sisters Handworke Club...
The model is actually finished,
but because of a family graduation today
there was no time to take the proper
photos!
In the meantime I'll share some other club details...

In the meantime I'll share some other club details...
This is the Civil War Reproduction fabric that was chosen for
Prairie Sisters second club kit.
The chosen linen is 32ct Belfast "Platinum"
The club token charms arrived from the United Kingdom...
Kits will include a little silver key...symbol of Faith!
Next, is the antique sewing item that I've chosen from
my personal collection to be gifted as the club gift giveaway...
My plans are to reveal the finished model, the winning name for
this sweet little gilded pinkeep, and the chosen club member whose
initials were stitched on the finished model....ALL ON MONDAY!

Behind the scenes:
this is what's going on in our
old 1886 farmhouse...
Upstairs, what was once known as the "East Wing"...is no more!
(It used to be a long "L" shaped room that was used for storage)
Please meet the carpenters...
husband Bill the expeditor, and son Sam in charge of demolition!
Walls, two built in closets and built in
drawers all removed...now the hard part starts!
They are going to make this into a nice bathroom,
in the meantime the farmhouse is in complete chaos, dust
and what to do with ALL THE STUFF THAT CAME OUT OF THE
EAST WING...HOLY MOLEY I'M OVERWHELMED!!!!!!!!
♛♛♛
A young fawn, probably about a week old!
The fawn had fallen down into a ravine,
but Sam brought it up to safety and was
later reunited with its mother...yay Sam!!
Sam took three videos, but unfortunately the second
one was to long for blogger to load!
♛♛♛
On the left is a nice wooden sewing caddy with a handle in
the center for carrying, plus a nice work drawer below!
My favorite on the right, is the tall sewing stand with double
workbaskets that are removable, plus there is a handle
making it easy to carry.

While Sam was taking a break from the demolition,
he decided to do some mowing back by our
pond, look what he found hiding in the
tall grass...

Mother's Day weekend I enjoyed going to the annual
"Gold Rush" antique show in Rochester, Minnesota...
These are the goodies that came home with me!On the left is a nice wooden sewing caddy with a handle in
the center for carrying, plus a nice work drawer below!
My favorite on the right, is the tall sewing stand with double
workbaskets that are removable, plus there is a handle

Weekend Soul Food...
"Give me understanding,
and I shall keep thy law; yea,
I shall observe it with my whole heart."

May God's grace enable you to walk each new day
