Hello friends, can you believe
it's Friday already!!!
Easter has passed but I just have to share what
was gifted to me by my husband....
Straight from my husband's woodworking shop!
All hand carved and painted.
Even a cross on the back of
this Easter wagon!
I especially LOVE this little bundle of wooden carrots!

Today I'd like to share a really fun little book...
Mary Emmerling's "American Country Gardens"
Hardcover with a total of 79 pages.
Published in 1991. Can be found on either Ebay or Amazon.
This little book is full of pretty pictures and great ideas for
Spring decorating.
Never enough birdhouses! Love the log cabin.
Wonderful old stone shed!
Sweet little herb garden.
More great sheds and birdhouses.
Nice porch sitting area...a must have for outside stitching!
Hope you enjoyed a glimpse into this little book.

Here is a gathering of some of my favorite Spring time
photos ....
Snippets of threads that I share with feathers friends....they
love to weave them into their nests.
My wild rabbit friend Abby, bee skeps and a log birdhouse.
All these things bring peace and happiness to my
country heart and hands!

This weekend I'm hoping to find some time to turn
these little boxes into something special...

I'll probably be lucky if I get one done!

This morning a Woodpecker outside my bedroom window
woke me up early and I couldn't get back to sleep...he
would not stop pecking!
As I glanced across my bedroom these old Llamas
caught my eye in the morning sunlight...they
have such a happy look on their face!

~ Weekend Soul Food ~
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning,
O Lord; in the morning will I direct
my prayer unto thee,
and will look up.

you'll stop again on Monday!
Have a great weekend!

What a talented husband you have! I will have to show this(and past treasures you have shown) to our 18 year old son. He is going to trade school in the fall to become a carpenter.
ReplyDeleteThe woodpecker made me laugh.
I am waiting with bated breath to see what you are going to do first for Triple-H Club. I can hardly wait. Happy Friday.
ReplyDeleteYour hubby is quite talented! What an adorable bunny and cart!! A priceless treasure. :)
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a great book. I added it to my amazon wishlist. ;)
Thank you for sharing!!
Jessica
Hubby is very talented. So sweet.
ReplyDeleteI have a couple of the Mary Emmerling books, but not that one. I think I need to head over to Amazon.
Hugs :)
