I've got some fantastic news to share!
Remember our wounded feathered friend...
I followed up with the Humane Society on Monday
and found out that he's doing really well!
He's eating and flying in his cage!
They took complete x~rays and found
no broken bones or wings.
He is being transported to a Falcon
rehab facility in Prairie Du Chien, Wisconsin
until he is fully recovered and ready
to be released back on our farm!
It was a bitterly cold day when my
husband found him, and they think that
perhaps the cold had depleted his
energy and ability to fly...now he's
flying just fine.
The specialist in Prairie will be
able to help him recover...yay!
I'll post updates as we learn more!

Our oldest son Nathan & family came
home early this year for Christmas and
have now left this past Wednesday.
Our grandchildren had fun playing in the snow...

Thursday we decided we needed
a drive in the country to clear our heads...

The day was still & chilly,
but yet sunny and so lovely!
Gentle streams running through
the country farm land!
Signs of a recent snowfall on the hillsides!
Even a couple country churches!
There is something so soothing

Now today, Friday, we are in the
middle of yet another snow storm...
My short walk from the farmhouse
to my Studio shows the extra
large snowflakes!
Expecting 4" before it's over!
Bundling up is a must in my neck of the woods,
just to walk out our long driveway to get the mail,
and to feed my little feather friends who
are always eagerly awaiting my arrival!
It's getting onto supper time as I finish up
this blog and my husband is just outside the
Studio plowing my parking lot and
shoveling my walkway for me!
The front display window of the
Farm Shop Studio was very simply this
year...the candles illuminating the angels is
so pretty when nightfall comes!
I purchased these two angel statues
25 years ago, they stand about 22" high
...so beautiful in person!
I'll have to take a close up of them on a nice
sunny day so you can also enjoy their
heavenly reflections!

in Celebration of Christmas Eve...
