~ Studio Berry Tree ~

Welcome dear friends!

Wow....only 13 days until

*** Christmas Day ***

How is your decorating coming?
I've still got lots to do!!

I did get my little bird tree all decorated for the
Studio that I showed you on Monday.....

I started by adding strawberry pincushions & emeries to
Mama Robin's original nest.  Next....

I added a basket of chicks in memory of all the little
baby robins that hatched on my back porch this spring.

More strawberries scattered here and there,
and one little  old German rabbit for good measure!!

The old creamery can sits nicely on top of a chair....

Last, I added some vintage garland around the
creamery can.

What do you think?

For those of you that collect the "Simply Country"
book series by Judy Condon, there is a new
one available....

~ Sleigh Bells Ring ~

There are 16 homes featured in this new 2014 release, plus
a recipe for a Bird Seed Wreath on the last page.

Softcover, 144 pages.

Simple country decorating at its best!

Love the long stocking on the right page...it reminds me of
the one I just purchased this past weekend!

I love Yellow Ware & Red Ware collections!

Candle lit rooms, dolls sitting in little chairs, dough bowls
filled with greenery and even an old thread well...I love
ALL these sweet simple pleasures :)

This is my favorite picture out of the whole book....the old
irons on top of  the beam's ledge!

The next book in the series will be available
January 2015.

I'm happy to say that my next sampler is all ready to start
stitching....yeah!

I'll be stitching on 32ct. "Busy Bee Blend" by R& R, using all
Gentle Art overdyed threads, (DMC) alternatives will be included.

I hope to get lots of stitching time in....starting this afternoon :)

I'll share an update on Monday.

Also, on Monday I'll show a picture of the Christmas giveaway
gift that I'll be doing a drawing for :)

~ Weekend Soul Food ~

Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that
getteth understanding:

For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver,
and the gain thereof than fine gold.

She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst
desire are not to be compared unto her.

Length of days is in her right hand: and in her left hand
riches and honor.

Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.

She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy
is every one that retaineth her.

~ Proverbs 3:13-18...KJV ~

Enjoy a relaxing weekend!

Blessings of Joy to all,
~ Kindly, Tammy ~

  3. A bird tree is such a great idea. I can see it decorated past Christmas too. Your sampler colors are very intriguing, I'll check back on Monday for a sneak peek?
