~ February's Gift Giveaway ~

Oh what a GLORIOUS Day....I'm FINALLY myself again!

I was enjoying a simply wonderful Saturday, finished my
new pattern, but then my life came to a screeching
halt at 9:00 p.m. shortly after eating popcorn
from Target!

It wasn't the nice fluffy fresh popcorn you would normally
expect during the day, but the scrapings from the
bottom of the popper!

My husband is taking some of it to the health department
to be tested.

I've never been so sick in my life...I seriously thought I
was dying!

Sunday and Monday were spent dealing with major
stomach problems, while Tuesday was spent dealing with a ....

Massive headache as a result of tense muscles from constant
shivering.

I kept telling myself ~

'This too shall pass'

I would like to thank you ladies for the special
get well wishes...they were TRULY appreciated in my distress!

Taking a nice hot shower and finally eating a piece
of dry toast this morning NEVER felt or
tasted SO good!

Now that it is already February 4th,
and I'm behind on so many things my main
priority today is to post February's Gift Giveaway....

This month's drawing will be for this old red shuttle bobbin,
which I've turned into a ink pen.

It can be easily replaced by simply pulling the old ink cartridge
out and replacing it with a new one.

The "Bick" ink pens have the perfect cartridge.

Simply leave a comment at the end of this post

OR

Email me at

Your name will be entered into the drawing :)

I'll be doing the drawing either this Friday or on
Monday.

~ Midweek Soul Food ~

(17) For our light affliction, which is but for a moment,
worketh for us a far more exceeding and
eternal weight of glory;

(18) While we look not at the things which are seen,
but at the things which are not seen: for the
things which are seen are temporal; but the things
which are not seen are eternal.

~ 2 Corinthians 4:17-18...KJV ~

This too shall pass is a famous line often said by people
when going through tough situations.  While many people use
this phrase and attribute it to the Word of God, the
reality is that this line is never actually spoken of in the
Bible.

However in the Bible these verses in 2 Corinthians
speaks on our troubles not lasting forever and that these
troubles and situations that we are faced with actually help to
produce a glory that vastly outweighs any of them.

Blessings,
~Kindly your friend, Tammy~

  7. I'm going to throw a new idea of what you had into the mix. It happened to me with popcorn. Diverticulitis. I had fever and chills and stomach pain on the left lower side (I am a nurse practitioner and didn't figure it out till I was seen at the local ER. Though I was going to die from the pain. Glad you are better, be careful what you eat for a few days to be sure you are all healed up in there. Soup and toast are the best. Looking forward to the next new pattern release!! Kathy
