Happy, Happy New Year to All ~

Welcome friends to new beginnings as we start
 the New Year!

The thought occurred to me a few weeks ago,
that the last two digits transposed in my birth year of 2016!!!

What is your special transposed year?

It will be very interesting to see what this
year holds in store for me!

The birds were lined up on our power line this morning
when I walked out of the farmhouse,
just chattering away....

Always a great way to start the morning!

Plus, my husband informed me there was an extra
Christmas present waiting for me in the back
of my "sassy chariot" (Kia Soul)!

Yay, two big bags of birdseed, my barrel was nearly
empty...what perfect timing!

Little Sparrow Pinkeep Club Update...

I'm happy to report that everything is finally caught up
and kits are ready to ship out!

Please watch for your "A Stitch in Time" pinkeep kit to arrive
in the mail sometime next week...thank you for your
patience during the busy month of December!

I bet you thought I forgot about the gift drawing,
nope, I'm just saving the best for last!

And the winner of this
2016 Book of Days Calendar is...

Congratulations and hugs to ~
Wanda in Canada!!

Happy New Year wishes to everyone who entered the
drawing and left such wonderful comments!!

The next gift giveaway drawing will be in
February for Valentine's Day!

Good news, now that I'm getting caught up on things....

The Early Workbasket will return to its
regular Friday!

This next photo is compliments of my son Samuel...

He captured the last sunset of 2015 last night!

Weekend Soul Food...

This is the day which the Lord hath made;
we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Psalm 118:24...KJV

Enjoy a nice relaxing winter weekend...stay warm!

I'm going to enjoy sipping on a cup of hot apple cider,
while watching the Downton Abby series!

Joyfully, Tammy

  1. Congratulations to Wanda. Thank you for sharing such lovely pictures

  2. I am so excited! Thank you so much Tammy for this beautiful 'Book of Days'! :) Your blog is gorgeous and I so look forward to your posts. Thank you again (sent you an email).

  3. Congrats dear Wanda. .
Beautiful pictures..big hugs and smiles x

  4. Loved the photo of the setting sun. What a beautiful place on earth to live in. God has truly blessed you and your family.

Re. the transposed birth year: Mine is 03, so I guess I will have to wait for almost a hundred years to celebrate it. But, if I live 'til 2030, I will really have reason to celebrate. LOL

  5. Your son got an excellent sunset picture.

  6. Congrats to Wanda! Love the pictures :)

  7. Happy New Year!!! Do you know, I wish I could fit into my life some of your lovely clubs. My work basket continues to be filled as are the rugs waiting to be hooked. My son is getting married in two weeks, here at our house and how I wish I could just sit and sew. I love the idea of your sheep club. Oh and I am glad you will be back on Friday with something new, I learn so much.
I just wanted you to know, in my future after wedding. :)
