On the mend ~

Welcome and Happy Friday
needlefolk friends!

The month of May was like a never ending
roller coaster ride...I'm SOOO glad
it's over!

After having a house full of company for a full week,
the long Memorial Day weekend,
my husband's birthday, and
to top it off I've been sick with a sinus
cold since last Saturday...I'm finally starting
to feel like myself again...YAY!

But, now that it's over I'm SOOO behind
in my work...it's time to get caught up!

Sorry for the delay...thank you for your patience!

Sharing with you today are some pictures taken
by my son Sam over the Memorial Day weekend...

Country roads are so gorgeous this time of year,
the hills are so full of life bursting with shades of green...
LOVE the ruins of this rustic old shed!!!

Here we have an old school with a little outhouse!

The Amish community are currently using
this old schoolhouse!

Simple and sweet in its own way!

You don't see to many of these old outhouses any more!

Cows gathered together in search of shade!

Lazy Sunday afternoon nap time!

So content to just soak up the sun!

  5. Have been thinking about you and your husband--hope he is doing well and recovering and following surgeons instructions. Had retina surgeries in 2014--your husband and I could compare notes
