Do you have an old straw hat lying around?
If so, look at what you could do with it...
Turn it into a cozy little bird house!
Simply cut a bird size hole in the top part of the hat.
Then nail or staple it to a old piece of wood shaped like this...
Add side awnings for shade, and attach a wire
for hanging on the back!
~**~
Mother nature sure loves to play hide & seek
when it comes to SPRING...especially
in the month of March!
On Tuesday, we were enjoying beautiful 61° weather,
but on Wednesday we received 10" of heavy
wet snow...yuk, yuk!
The snow even made its way onto the
back porch of the farmhouse.
Mr. Toad looks a little put out...he doesn't like
getting his toes wet!
~**~
Weekend Soul Food...
For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life.
John 3:16...KJV

Wishing everyone a safe and peaceful Easter weekend.
Approach thy task each day with a grateful heart!
~ Blessings of Joy, Tammy ~

Your Sampler is so pretty, and what a great idea for a bird house.
ReplyDeleteWe had snow here in Waukesha too, but not as much as you!
Just enough to make a mess and then it all melted yesterday.
I hope Spring comes for you soon.

We did not get as much snow as you this side of Wisconsin. A lot of ice. So pretty. But so dangerous. Mostly gone now. Your birdhouse is sweet.
ReplyDeleteNo snow here in SW Ohio, but a hard freeze overnite. I hope my pansies will be ok? I'll watch for the silk packs as I can't wait to stitch your samplar in lucious silks! Have a blessed Easter weekend!
