~ Fallen Nests ~

Hello friends and neighbors...hope all is well with you!

We are enjoying one of the most beautiful summers
I can remember...warm days and cool nights!

Look at what mother nature gifted to me overnight...

Not one but two fallen nests right in the same spot!

My lovely Petunia's were crushed but not broken...I'm hoping
maybe they'll bounce back!

I love to collect olde fallen bird nests...

So far this season I've found 5 fallen nests...no two are alike!

"Birds of a feather flock together",
so I nestled a few my feathered pinkeeps
into these fallen nests.

Does anyone else collect fallen nests?

Birds~eye view...

Well hello there!

These are my city feathered friends that perch on the ledge
of our local Kohl's store...I always stop to say hello
to them!

Another new backyard "hare~friend" listening very closely
as I strike up a conversation...maybe kinfolk to Abby?

Summer haying and mother nature...

So far, the weathers been great...nice and sunny!

Fields are cut, raked and baled.

But, the weatherman is forecasting rain!

The race is on!

He loves me ~ he loves me not...

Every time I see Daisy's it makes me think of this little
game I played when growing up...I wonder if
 kids still play this game?

Did you ever play this game?

The Sheepish Needle Samplar Club, update...

wonderful feel on both sides of the fan.

I'm so happy to have my husband and son Sam back home
after being gone this past week to California to visit
our oldest son and family.

I stayed home to take care of our old ailing Scottie dog Winston.

A view of the Pacific Ocean.

I'll share more of Sam's great pics next week.

~ Weekend Soul Food ~

He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us;
he will subdue our iniquities;
and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

~ Micah 7:19...KJV ~

Have a great weekend friends, get plenty of rest
and lots of sunshine!
