Schoolgirl Sneak Peek ~

Welcome dear needlefolk friends!

Most of my week was spent filling
purchase orders for patterns,
which involves lots of time
at the print shop, then
bagging and finally
shipping!

Which did not help the fact that I'm
really running behind schedule this month!

However, I'm very happy to have the
design all charted for Schoolgirl Samplar Clubs
next release (kit No. 2).

How about a wee sneak peek...
The title has been chosen ~
"Schoolworke Exemplary"

The frame has also been chosen...
The model will fit into this old 9" by 7" frame

Model is being stitched with...
~ 36ct. R&R  Abecedarian Blend Linen
~ Weeks Dye Works Thread

I'll be stitching like crazy all weekend...the race is
on to the finish line!

Next week I'll share my progress!

I love how early samplers held such
pieces of her past for the young schoolgirl!

An early morning walk reveals the
secret life of the spider...

The morning dew glistening on their
intricately woven webs!

Spiders spin webs to catch their dinner!

When an insect, such as a fly, flies into a spider's web,
it gets stuck on the sticky threads.

Then the spider can approach the trapped
victim and uses its fangs to inject venom...creepy!

Many busy bees working hard
in the early morning hours...

The cool morning dew must feel very refreshing
as they buzz from one plant to the next!

Lots of volunteer pumpkin plants are
growing like crazy in our big ditch where we
dump leaves, grass and weeds.

Hope to gather a nice harvest of free pumpkins!

Weekend Soul Food...

For thou hast been a strength to the poor,
a strength to the needy in his distress,
a refuge from the storm.

My son Samuel took this awesome photo
last night as yet another big storm
passed over our farm...this time
no trees were damaged!

Enjoy a lovely weekend,
Tammy
